My puppies

Neverland Dog Services is situated in Lyn, just outside Brockville. I provide training sessions either at your residence or at my private hobby farm. Whether you have a new puppy or an adult dog exhibiting behavioral challenges, professional training and management can make a significant difference.

With many years of experience as a dog trainer, my goal is to assist owners in fully appreciating the rewards of dog ownership by preparing dogs for success, ensuring you enjoy a happy, healthy canine companion as a valued family member.

Puppies:

Socialization, potty training, crate training, leash manners, reputable breeders, breed traits…

Happy to give new owners advice and guidance before you commit to a puppy. Free email advice on what you need the first week you bring the puppy home.

Adult dogs:

Leash reactivity, separation anxiety, fear, over excited behaviour, jumping, leash pulling….

The rescues and pounds are full and most problems can be fixed with a good training program that shows the dog what we want and gives dogs a reason to want to work with their handler. Every step of the way has to set dogs up for success with good management and a plan. People need to do better for their dogs so they stay in a forever home!

Private 1 hour session $50 at my facility or in the Brockville area. Outside of Brockville travel time will apply. 25c/km outside of a 30 minute radius of Lyn.

Virtual training. A very affordable way to help your dog or start your puppy off correctly. This is not an online course to teach Fido to sit, there are many excellent online courses. This is one on one personal training where you can email, video chat, send videos or text me. This is to help you solve the problems you have with your dog or to understand a training philosophy. You may have watched a YouTube video and your dog isn’t getting it no matter how much you try and you need some eyes on advice. There is a lot of information online and some isn’t good and dogs deserve better. Understanding the science matters but you need real world applications. It needs to be fun for you and your dog and get results. Great solution for busy people or dogs that are not going to do well in a training situation. Priced to help all dogs. $29 for 30 minutes or $89 a month for unlimited training. Most dogs will not need more than a month unless you are dealing with multiple issues.

Training

Service Offerings, Pricing, and Available Options

IN PERSON training sessions are priced at $50 each, typically lasting one hour.

Based on the dog's specific needs, I generally travel to your location, as working within the dog’s familiar environment often yields better results.

The duration of training varies depending on the dog, the behavioral challenges, and the owner’s dedication to implementing the program. For example, establishing a training plan for a puppy may require only a few sessions, whereas working with an older reactive dog to disengage from other dogs (BAT training) will necessitate a longer commitment.

VIRTUAL training sessions are available at $25 per 30-minute Zoom or phone consultation. While not always the preferred method, virtual training can be highly effective, especially for busy individuals with some dog experience seeking guidance on behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, which demands a precise protocol but may not require in-person sessions. It is also an excellent option for first-time puppy owners aiming to prepare their home for a successful puppy introduction.

BOARD AND TRAIN services are available; please contact me for pricing details. It is important for owners to understand the nature of board and train programs. Although a professional trainer can manage your dog effectively, this does not guarantee the owner will be able to do so. Several factors contribute to this: I operate from a farm located on a quiet road, providing an ideal, low-stress environment for dogs. However, returning the dog to an apartment setting cannot replicate this scenario. Additionally, I have the capacity to work with the dog multiple times daily, which most owners cannot match. While I cannot transform an unfriendly dog into a friendly one, I can train the dog to remain neutral, but ongoing maintenance of this training is the owner’s responsibility. That said, board and train programs have proven successful for many clients, allowing me to assess the dog and develop an effective at-home training plan. Success is most notable when owners diligently follow up. Please feel free to reach out to discuss whether this option would benefit your dog.

BOARDING services are offered in-home for client dogs that integrate well with my dogs following a gradual and careful introduction. This provides a safe, comfortable environment on a peaceful property, ideal for owners who prefer not to kennel their dogs—this was the motivation behind offering this service. Several clients from the Toronto area continue to entrust their dogs to me, confident that their pets are treated like family and kept safe. The best review is loyal clients that travel 3 hours to make sure their dogs are safe and happy. Boarding is priced at $40 per 24-hour period, with limited availability.
